Now that you’ve created your Manager Avatar and generated your squad, it’s time to get to know your players and prepare for your first match!
Let’s take a look at the bigger picture before we drill down into each part of the Nifty Football dashboard.
Nifty Football (Beta) Logo - On the top left of the screen you’ll see the Nifty Football (Beta) logo. Wherever you navigate in the game, clicking this logo will always bring you back to the dashboard.
Navigation Bar - To the right of the logo is the Navigation Bar which features five tabs: Tactics, My Squad, Match Reports, Marketplace (greyed out) and Play.
XP, Notifications & Profile - To the top right of the page you’ll see your current XP balance, the Notifications tab and your Manager Profile tab, featuring the face you created in the set-up phase.
Team Details - Under the main Navigation Bar you’ll see a welcome message with your manager name, your team badge, your current level and your team name.
My Squad - The first large feature on the Dashboard is My Squad, where you can quickly see your current team selection and formation as well as the time remaining until your next match.
Next Match - Below that is your next opposition, a link to change the kick-off time should you need to, and a button to Edit Squad which takes you to the My Squad page.
My Challenges - To the right of the My Squad section is a list of six challenges for brand new managers, each of which reward you on completion with XP to get you started in the game.
